The Problem
Current floating PV systems rely on blow-molded floaters, which are expensive and primarily produced in China. This results in high shipping costs, thin wall thickness, and shorter system lifespan.
The Solution
Extruded plastic profiles, sealed with injection-molded caps, and assembled into modular floating rafts — enabling robust, low-cost, locally manufactured systems.
Key Advantages
Robust Design: Double wall thickness and buoyancy at the same cost. Built to last 40 years.
Local Manufacturing: Fast, low-cost delivery supporting local industry.
Lowest Installation Cost: Minimal parts, quick assembly, error-proof, modular and multi-purpose.
Lowest LCoE: Dramatically lower Levelized Cost of Electricity through higher durability and reduced logistics costs.
Status
Detailed design completed, patent pending – Connector for Interconnecting Floats (US 63/614,649).
Injection molds and extrusion die completed; first batch produced locally.
>100 kWp beta installations planned for the coming months.
